Renshi Daren Stirrat has been practicing Shotokan Karate for more than 45 years, previously running well established clubs in various locations in Hampshire and has attained many European and world titles for both himself and the squads he has leads.

       In 2016 Renshi Daren founded the Hampshire Academy of Shotokan Karate which has an emphasis on being a small family run business.

       Renshi Daren has worked hard to maintain high standards of traditional Shotokan Karate and although no longer competing himself, continues to lead his squads to European and world titles.  He is passionate about passing his knowledge onto new generations and continues to develop his knowledge through training with world renowned Senseis.
